Hurricane preparedness and Halloween Safety

Hi everyone.  We hope that you and your employees are staying safe and dry today – it’s messy out there.  Sandy isn’t letting up and has increased in strength along the East coast today with maximum winds of 85 mph.  Sandy remains a Category 1 hurricane but is expected to lose its characteristics as a tropical cyclone later today and should then move to a wintertime low pressure system.  Despite these changes, hurricane force winds are expected late tonight or early tomorrow morning as the storm comes ashore somewhere in the vicinity of New Jersey.  Sandy is expected to put 50 million people at risk.
