ARBILL OPENS UP A NEW DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN DALLAS, TX
-- Continuing its expansion across North America, the Philadelphia-based workplace safety provider now maintains inventory in 22 states. --
Arbill, a leading provider of workplace safety products, services and training in Philadelphia, recently opened up a new distribution center in Dallas, TX. This new supply point is another successful step in Arbill's continued expansion across North America.
With the addition of this distribution center in Texas, Arbill now maintains inventory in 22 states. More distribution centers means Arbill is able to reach its customers with more speed and efficiency. This, in turn, supports the company's mission to get every worker home safe after each shift.
Arbill President and CEO Julie Copeland expresses her enthusiasm for the company's continued expansion: "As we extend our reach, we are not just expanding our geographic footprint and inventory capacity. More importantly, we are offering more environmental health and safety (EH&S) personnel and resources to the public."
"Making EH&S training programs more accessible across the U.S. is crucial to building a strong culture of safety and protecting our nation's workers."
Copeland also remarks that adding new talent to Arbill's team of Safety Architects helps the company better serve its customers. "This skill diversification allows us to more thoroughly and comprehensively serve the unique needs of each workplace."
All of Arbill's sites are fully integrated with its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system so its team has immediate access to inventory stocked at any of its locations. "Customers can call, fax or email our customer service team for current product availability on any of the hundreds of thousands of products we offer at any of our locations," says Copeland. "We then ship from the location that gets the products to the customer most efficiently."
Each of Arbill's distribution centers has 24/7 coverage to guarantee all safety needs are met in the case of a workplace emergency.

ARBILL STANDS STRONG ON WORKPLACE SAFETY
-- Its "Give Back" program fortifies Arbill's mission to bring each worker home safe, every day. --
Arbill, a Philadelphia-based provider of workplace safety products, services and training, recognizes that ensuring workplace safety means helping out the organizations that need assistance. Arbill's Give Back program works well with its "Make It Home Safe" mission because it provides safety products for those who truly need it -- without expectation of compensation.
Arbill's mission is to ensure that each worker returns home safe, every day. Arbill President and CEO Julie Copeland emphasizes that this mission is honored and fulfilled by creating cultures of safety -- and this takes a team effort. "We believe we have an obligation to give back to the community and are committed to helping others," says Copeland. "We would not be honoring our mission to bring workers home safe every day if we did not provide extra assistance to those who truly need it. Workplace safety shouldn't be limited to the organizations that can afford the superior safety services and products we offer."
Arbill's Give Back program takes a philanthropic approach to ensuring workplace safety. Arbill makes a donation of safety equipment -- on the behalf of each organization that partners with the safety supplier -- to a group that needs the assistance. The three largest beneficiaries are Feed The Children, the Philadelphia Fire Department and Goodwill.
In addition to donating safety equipment on behalf of partnering organizations, Arbill gives up to 10% of its profits to charitable organizations -- these donations are also in the form of safety products like gloves, hardhats and raincoats.
"We are not thoughtlessly throwing money at these organizations and calling it 'charity,'" says Copeland. "We are providing safety-related items which they may not be able to purchase themselves. Items that help make them safe. That's our mission, and our passion."

Arbill offers innovative industrial safety products, safety services and safety training programs to protect workers on the job. Arbill uses a customer-focused process that values the direct return on investment of each personalized safety

ARBILL CEO AND PRESIDENT, JULIE COPELAND, IS THE FOCUS OF A WOMAN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (WBE) SUCCESS STORY
Arbill CEO and President, Julie Copeland, has a passion turned mission for her company to: "Envision a future in which every single worker makes it home safe every day." As an industry leader, Arbill has made the safety of workforces everywhere their priority since their founding in 1945.
Arbill is an award-winning safety products and services provider that meets the needs and exceeds the expectations of every customer and remains dedicated to protecting their clients' most valuable asset: their employees.
Ms. Copeland joined Arbill in 1995 and took over the helm as CEO in 2005. Since that time, she remains focused on understanding Arbill's customers' needs in order to "make work places safer each and every day." Copeland is adamant about Arbill's
current business direction, always working to provide the highest level of service to Arbill clients. Their recently launched website headline says it all: "Your Employee Safety is our #1 Priority" and includes the number of workers Arbill protects
every day. Currently that number is an impressive 279,715. Her devotion extends beyond Arbill's clients' employees to their families:
"My passion is all about people and their safety. Keeping moms and dads safe; no one can replace the ability to see, play with, or hug your children. We protect our clients' workers so their lives are not impacted by an on the job accident. I
truly love what I do every day."
Coupled with valuing Arbill's clients, Copeland believes they have a significant competitive advantage due to the caliber of their employees, having "A" players throughout the organization. Arbill's employee base has increased by 10-12% while the
company has enjoyed a 20% growth rate.
A WBENC certified WBE since 2004, Copeland has held roles in various capacities and has earned numerous awards throughout her tenure. She serves as a board member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC); Vice Chair of the WBENC
Leadership Forum; board member of the Women's Business Enterprise-PA-DE-Southern NJ Council; and member of the Zenith Group, for women-owned businesses with revenues of $50 million and above. Her many accolades include being awarded the Women's
Business Enterprise Star Award in 2008 and the Shining Star Award for Leadership from the Women's Business Enterprise Council (WBEC) of PA-DE-Southern NJ, 2010.
An excerpt from the awards commentary noted: "Julie Copeland made a commitment to become involved at a regional and national level when she became WBENC certified in 2004, and has honored that commitment. Julie represents and exemplifies the
interest of women business enterprises as a member of the Women's Business Enterprise Council"....and does to this day.
As for the value of WBENC certification for Arbill? "WBENC certification has led to many new clients and opportunities as well as growth with existing relationships, including Coca-Cola, Tyco and Harley Davidson, to name a few," shared Copeland.
Arbill will take on a major leadership role in 2014 as a WBE Co-Chair for the WBENC National Conference being held in Philadelphia.
Copeland is also active in other organizations, as ex officio of the Safety Marketing Group (SMG) and a member of YPO, Young Professionals Organization. She has often been recognized for excellence: received the "Brava! Award", and named one of
