DOT Hazardous Materials (General Awareness)
This training includes discussion and hands-on activities for the identification of hazardous materials as well as guidance on how to meet the regulatory requirements for packaging, marking, labeling hazardous materials for domestic highway shipments. The Hazardous Materials Table (HMT) and DOT requirements will be covered. Participants will gain a working understanding of shipping manifests, labels and placards, container identification, and safety and security requirements.
*This course is for any employee involved in the safe shipping, receiving or transporting of hazardous materials by highway transportation. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.
Duration: 4 Hours
Initially / Refresher Every 3 Years
International Air Transportation Association (IATA) Air Shipments of Hazardous Materials
This training course includes discussion and hands-on activities for the identification of hazardous materials and education of your employee about how to meet the regulatory requirements for packaging, marking, labeling hazardous materials for international and domestic air shipments. The Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and IATA guidelines will be covered. Participants will gain a working understanding of shipping manifests, labeling, container identification, and safety and security requirements.
*This course is for any employee involved in the safe shipping, receiving or transporting of hazardous materials by air transportation. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Vessel Shipments of Hazardous Materials
This training course includes discussion and hands-on activities for the identification of hazardous materials and education of your employee about how to meet the regulatory requirements for packaging, marking, labeling hazardous materials for international and domestic vessel shipments. The Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and International Maritime law will be covered. Participants will gain a working understanding of shipping manifests, placards, container identification, safety, and security requirements.
*This course is for any employee involved in the safe shipping, receiving or transporting of hazardous materials by vessel transportation. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.
Duration: 4 Hours

Hazard Communication with GHS
Facilities using hazardous materials must develop and implement a Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) program, which includes a written plan, employee training, chemical inventory, and maintenance of SDSs. This training satisfies employee training requirements for those who work directly with hazardous materials and educates employees on their “Right to Know” about hazards in the workplace. Safety Datasheets, GHS, NFPA, HMIS and DOT labeling systems are covered.

Hazard Communication (Awareness)
Facilities using hazardous materials must develop and implement a Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) program, which includes a written plan, employee training, chemical inventory, and maintenance of SDSs. This training satisfies employee training requirements for office/administrative employees who do not work directly with hazardous substances. Safety Datasheets, GHS, NFPA, HMIS and DOT labeling systems are covered.

HAZWOPER First Responder (Awareness Level)
This course provides awareness-level training on Hazardous Materials First Responder topics. Instruction includes recognition of hazardous chemicals associated with spills and leaks within the workplace. The individual will learn notification, isolation and evacuation measures to protect employees under site-specific emergency response plan.

HAZWOPER 24-Hour First Responder (Operations Level)
This class is required for any employee who is expected to respond to hazardous substance releases in a defensive manner through isolation, evacuation and containment from a safe distance needs this training. Instruction includes recognition of hazardous chemicals associated with spills and leaks within the workplace, protection and containment methods and decontamination methods.

HAZWOPER 40-Hour (Site Worker)
This course provides certification for the 40-hour HAZWOPER Site Worker training including necessary classroom instruction to meet the regulatory requirements for a HazMat employee. The course will cover hazardous waste safety, site hazards, chemical identification, decontamination, and other key areas for your employees, including practicums to engage and educate your employees.

HAZWOPER Annual Refresher Training
This course provides annual recertification for all HAZWOPER First Responder and Site Worker training, including necessary classroom instruction to meet the regulatory requirements for hazardous material response refresher training. The class will cover annual regulatory, equipment and technique updates, response information and resources.

Hazardous Materials Decontamination
This course covers proper decontamination of employees that may be exposed to hazardous materials. Topics include types of decontamination, emergency decontamination, decontamination equipment, emergency showers and eye wash stations, duration of decontamination, modesty considerations and mass casualty decontamination.

BMP
Basic Spill Planning & Management Training
This training offers employees a comprehensive overview of basic spill response planning and management. Employees will learn about the prevention of spills, how to proactively plan for an event, proper response procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements. This awareness level class is not a substitute for HAZWOPER Spill Responder Training [29 CFR 1910.120(p) (8) (iii)] which is required for spill response teams but is a great supplement for other employees.
