MSHA / Miner Safety

This course fulfils the classroom training required for miners and contractors exposed to the hazards of mines. The course covers various hazards, control measures and protective means for all types of workers that work in and around mining operations. MSHA / Miner Training is limited to a maximum of thirty (30) students per MSHA, and additional site training will be required for certification.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Worker

The OSHA 10-hour Outreach Training Program for General Industry is intended to provide entry-level workers with information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job related hazards in the workplace. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards, which a worker may encounter in the workplace. An OSHA Authorized General Industry Outreach Instructor teaches all subjects in accordance with current OSHA Training Guidelines and Regulations.

*OSHA requires that each course take place over a two-day (2) period. No in-class time period is allowed to exceed seven and one half (7.5) hours per day. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

Duration: 10 Hours

The OSHA 10-hour Outreach Training Program for Construction is intended to provide entry-level construction workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities, and how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a construction site. The training covers a variety of construction safety and health hazards, which a worker may encounter at a construction site. An OSHA Authorized Instructor teaches all subjects in accordance with current OSHA Training Institute Guidelines and Regulations.

*OSHA requires that each course take place over a two-day (2) period. No in-class time period is allowed to exceed seven and one half (7.5) hours per day. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

The OSHA 30-hour Outreach Training Program for General Industry provides detailed training for supervisors, managers, and those employees with some safety responsibility. It is an advanced level of the OSHA 10 training, with a more specific focus on safety management aspects such as compliance programs, accident investigation and injury reporting for general industry. An OSHA Authorized General Industry Outreach Instructor teaches all subjects in accordance with current OSHA Training Institute Guidelines and Regulations.

*OSHA requires that each course take place over a four-day (4) period. No in-class time period is allowed to exceed seven and one half (7.5) hours per day. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

OSHA Injury and Illness Reporting

This course will instruct employees in identifying various injuries and illnesses and provide guidelines for reporting requirements. The differences between an incident and an injury, first aid, recordable injuries, reportable injuries, and minor injuries will be covered. The employer’s injury reporting procedure will be covered.

*Taught in conjunction with the Accident Investigation training course. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.
