Bloodborne Pathogens (Awareness)

This awareness course is designed for all employees and covers the basics of Bloodborne Pathogens (BBPs) and how they affect the workplace. Employees will learn the signs, symptoms, and risks associated with BBP exposure, universal precautions and other prevention measures, and decontamination/treatment options after exposure.

Bloodborne Pathogens (Affected)

This course is designed for specific employees at highest risk for exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens (BBPs) in the workplace, including first aid team members, hazardous waste remediation employees, onsite nurses, and others. The BBP Authorized training covers a more thorough understanding of the epidemiology, symptoms, transmission, and prevention of bloodborne pathogens, exposure control programs, engineering controls, decontamination methods, disposal requirements and recordkeeping related to BBP.

Bloodborne Pathogens (Healthcare Workers)

This course is designed to meet the Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training requirements for healthcare workers such as nurses, physician aides, emergency medical technicians, nursing home workers, etc. This training covers an advanced level of understanding including the epidemiology, symptoms, transmission, and prevention of bloodborne pathogens, exposure control programs, engineering controls, decontamination methods, disposal requirements and recordkeeping related to bloodborne pathogens.

Adult CPR/AED

This course is designed for non-medical personnel that require training in Adult CPR/AED. The course covers the proper use of AEDs as well as step-by-step procedures for CPR. Upon completion of this course, students receive a nationally recognized course completion card that is valid for two years.

*Maximum of 10 employees per class. Certifications by ASHI- Medic-American Heart or Red Cross. Can be combined with Adult Basic First Aid. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

Duration: 3 Hours
Initially / Refresher Every 2 Years

Adult Basic First Aid

This course is designed for non-medical personnel that require training in Basic First Aid. The course covers the American Heart Association guidelines for basic first-aid injuries and includes the proper selection and use of PPE. Upon completion of this course, students receive a nationally recognized course completion card that is valid for two years.

*Certifications by ASHI-Medic-American Heart or Red Cross. Can be combined with Adult CPR/AED. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

Emergency Action Plans (EAP)

OSHA requires every employer to develop an Emergency Action Plan to quickly respond to threats to their employees, including fires, severe weather, earthquakes, workplace violence, chemical releases, and many others. Employees learn about the types of incidents and emergencies that can occur, and what procedures and actions must be taken to ensure their safety.

Accident Investigation

This course is designed to train and inform employees in the procedures for conducting an accident investigation. Employees will learn about securing an accident scene, identifying relevant information, and completing proper reporting procedures and accident investigation forms.

This training course covers the steps and procedures for employees to take during an active shooter event. The training will cover identification of active threats, warning communication, evacuation and shelter in place processes, cooperation with law enforcement and after-incident assistance.

Incident Command System (ICS) for Employers ICS100 Equivalent

This course covers the Incident Command System (ICS) structure for emergency managers, supervisors or employees who will be managing aspects of the ICS system during an emergency. The training covers the employer’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP), contingency plans, management roles during an emergency, evacuation procedures, facility emergency procedures, outside emergency agency liaisons and continuity of operations. This course includes discussion, roundtable workshops and tabletop exercises.

*Taught in conjunction with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) training course. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.

National Incident Management System (NIMS) for Employers ICS700 Equivalent

This course covers the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the national emergency framework plan. Training is for emergency managers, supervisors or employees who will be managing aspects of the ICS system during an emergency that could utilize the national response framework. The training covers the national framework for integrated emergency response, Incident Command System (ICS) utilization, management roles during an emergency, evacuation procedures, facility emergency procedures, outside agency liaisons and national response aspects. This course includes discussion, roundtable workshops and tabletop exercises.

*Taught in conjunction with the Incident Command System (ICS) training course. Number of participants, minimum booking hours and additional materials fees may apply.
