3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P95 D3071 is NIOSH approved and designed to help filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants. The D3071 particulate filters are for use with 3M™ Secure Click™ face pieces. 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P95 D3071 has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate filters. Simply align the connections on the face piece and filter and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide wearers confidence that the filters are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click filters are dual-flow to allow easier breathing. 3M™ Secure Click Particulate Filter P95 D3071 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3071 particulate filter may be used in a variety of applications such as grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3071 particulate filters include filtering solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour and certain other substances. They may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors and for metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. The D3071 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting or in environments that contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases or asbestos. Change your 3M™ Secure Click Particulate Filters P95 D3071 if they become dirty, damaged or difficult to breathe through. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the filters after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first. 3M™ offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants. 3M™ Select and Service Life Software (www.3M™.com/sls) contains more than 700 di.
